Ripening times vary with each variety and Mother Nature’s timing. ## Plum Varieties We Grow From the deep purple Stanley and Italian European plums to the sweet, juicy Japanese plums. Deep Purple & Sweet ### European Plums Classic dark plums, firm, flavourful, and excellent for fresh eating or preserves. #### Vanette Aug 8, Sept 10 Early-to-mid season European plum. #### Valor Aug 8, Sept 10 Early-to-mid season European plum. #### Burbank Aug 30, Sept 14 Mid-season European plum. #### Stanley Sept 10, 30 Classic late-season European plum, deep purple, freestone, excellent for fresh eating and prunes. #### Italian Sept 10, 30 Late-season European plum, prized for baking and preserves. #### Damson Sept 10, 17 Small, tart European plum, perfect for jams and preserves. Juicy & Bright ### Japanese Plums Larger, juicier plums in striking colours, yellow, red, and purple. #### Early Golden July 20, Aug 15 Early-season Japanese plum, golden-yellow flesh and skin. #### Vampire Aug 15, Sept 30 Mid-to-late season Japanese plum with dramatic dark skin. #### Fortune Sept 10, Oct 15 Late-season Japanese plum, large and richly flavoured.
